My Story

Hi! I’m Patsy, a Mexican American multi-disciplinary artist behind eggurumi, based in Queens, NY. My official creative journey began in 2024 with a small crochet stand. As I developed my illustration skills, I slowly started incorporating my silly handmade goods, stickers, art, and photo prints into the mix! I love creating silly, cute, and playful handmade art inspired by my Mexican culture, emphasizing healing and playful self-expression.

When I'm not creating, I love exploring my neighborhood with my camera and headphones. Karaoke is another passion of mine, and I especially enjoy belting out to songs by twenty one pilots! |-/

This is my desk, the place where everything is created. Music fuels my soul! So, while I work on my art I'm always listening to twenty one pilots, The Strokes, Linkin Park, MCR, Slipknot, and basically all the bands from my early 2000s high school days! |-/

Where are you located?

I am based in Queens, NY!

What inspired the name eggurumi?

It’s a combined mix of my love for eggs and amigurumi (the Japanese art of crocheting plushies) = eggurumi!

Are your items handmade or manufactured?

Everything in my shop, including my crochet plushies, sticker sheets, art prints, junk journaling sets, and mousepads, is proudly designed and handmade by me in my home studio!

Only two items require specialized commercial durability (washi tape or acrylic keychains), I design the artwork in-house and partner with high-quality manufacturers to bring them to life.

Where do you get your art prints made?

I print, cut, and handle the quality control for all of my art prints and stationery right from my home studio to ensure the colors look perfect! (Lots of trial & error lol)

How long have you been doing this?

I've loved stickers and creating things my whole life, but I officially took the leap to turn my passion into an independent brand during my 30s! You can read more about my story on my blog. :)

What is your return policy?

Because items are handmade and produced in small batches, all sales are final. However, if there is an issue with your order, please reach out via the contact form right away so I can make it right!

How long will it take for my order to ship?

Since I hand-package and ship everything myself, orders are typically processed and shipped within 3 to 5 business days. You will receive a tracking link as soon as your goodies are on their way! Please note envelopes are untracked.

Do you offer wholesale?
